HOME | Creations & Development’s has enjoyed an outstanding reputation for honesty, integrity and trustworthiness. This reputation has been well earned over many years based on the daily words and actions of our employees. To maintain our good name, we must adhere to the highest standards of conduct in our dealings with people, organizations and governments. This Code of Ethics sets forth principles and standards of conduct that will continue to guide HOME | Creations & Development’s into the future.

Misconduct by a single individual can discredit everyone, whether that misconduct is motivated by the belief that it may be benefiting HOME | Creations & Development or by personal gain. Observance of both the letter and the spirit of the law, and strict adherence to HOME | Creations & Development’s policies and practices, are absolute requirements. While we clearly expect to succeed, we believe that success at the expense of our reputation will be short-lived.

Please read this Code of Ethics carefully and familiarize yourself with its provisions. It is intended as a guide in making the right decisions, but it can serve only as a general standard. This Code of Ethics applies to board members, officers, managers and all other employees of HOME | Creations & Development. This Code does not modify any employee’s at-will status.

Health & Safety

It is the policy of HOME | Creations & Development “HOME | C&D” to provide a safe, accident-free, and healthy work environment for everyone. However, excellent, safe and healthy conditions do not occur by chance. They are the result of diligent work and careful attention to all of our company policies by everyone.

Safety demands cooperation on everyone’s part. Thus, it is important that communication be kept open at all times between all levels of our company, including, management, employees and subcontractors. Workers who notice hazards or other safety problems, or feel that they need additional training, must notify their supervisor. Supervisors and management must address these concerns and take corrective action when warranted.

Everyone is obligated to know the safety requirements and standards for their area or job, and just as important, to abide by them. Supervisors must instill a positive attitude and safety awareness in their workers through personal adherence, personal contact, training, and regularly scheduled safety meetings. It is the duty of all employees to perform their work with maximum regard for the safety of themselves and co-workers.

Our safety policies are based on past experience and current standards, and are also an integral part of HOME | C&D’s personnel policies. This means that compliance with the policies is a condition of employment and must be taken seriously. Failure to comply is sufficient grounds for disciplinary action or for termination of employment.

Safety and health are every bit as important in this organization as productivity and quality. In fact, they go hand in hand. Of course, the best reason for you to observe these policies is because it’s in your own self-interest to do so. Conscientiously following them can help you stay safe, healthy, and able to work, play, and enjoy life to its fullest.
